Near the town of Ozark, this cave was an experience well worth the"search and find" mission. The cave is a family owned business and the recent snow fall and frigid temperatures have limited the number of visitors. Meaning, Matthew and I had a private tour by a very cave-passionate and knowledgable owner.

Not only were the structure and the history of the Smallin Cave interesting, so were the rare animals. Matthew and I got to see Ozark Blind Cave Salamanders before they lost their eyesight and pigmentation. The most rare sighting was the Bristly Cave Crayfish--blind and white.
