Matt and I were so lucky to have “hit it perfectly”. The fall colors were “at peak”
during our drive up to Fairbanks.
The typical 5-hour trip took us 7 hours; I was busy gawking and taking
photos! I got lost in the yellow,
gold, and butterscotch colors.
Note the stubborn dark green of the spruce…
No need to write much; the foliage speaks for itself.
